Key Metrics
- IV (Impact Value)
- Win rate divided by population average. IV 1.50 = 50% more winners than baseline. Bars are coloured: green (above avg), amber (average), red (below)
- PEI (Progeny Earnings Index)
- Average prize money per run vs population — measures quality, not just quantity
- BT Producer %
- Percentage of offspring that placed 1st-3rd in a Listed or Group race
- Fee Value
- PEI per 10k of stud fee — highlights value-for-money sires
- Bayesian Shrunk Rate
- Small-sample win rates are pulled toward the sire average to prevent 3-from-10 flukes looking elite
